Our Story
Every great love story has a beginning. Here is ours, told in the moments that matter most.
How We Met
Our story began in 2016, when we were both working at Staples while in college. What started as coworkers crossing paths turned into a friendship, and eventually, something much more. Little did we know that a part-time college job would lead us to each other—and eventually to our forever.
Our First Date
Our first date was at Mike’s Diner, where one dinner turned into an entire night of talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. Neither of us wanted the night to end, and that first date became the beginning of a love story we’re so grateful to still be writing today.
First Adventure Together
Our first trip together as a couple was to Los Angeles, California. It was such a fun trip and one of those times where we got to experience a new place together, make memories, and enjoy each other’s company. It quickly became one of those trips we still look back on and smile about—and the first of many adventures together.
Moving In Together
In February 2024, we took a big step in our relationship and moved in together! It was an exciting new chapter for us—building a home, creating new routines, and getting to experience all the little everyday moments together. It made us even more excited for everything still to come.
The Proposal
In February 2026, we took a weekend trip to Ithaca, New York. One of our stops was Taughannock Falls, where we walked through the snow to see the beautiful frozen waterfall. As we took in the view, James waited until we had a private moment together, then got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. It was the perfect surprise and a moment we’ll never forget.
Engagement Party
After saying “yes,” it was time to celebrate! We gathered with our closest family and friends to celebrate this exciting new chapter and the love that brought us here. It was such a special day filled with laughter, love, and so many memories we’ll cherish forever. We’re so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with us and make the day even more meaningful.
The Wedding Day
And now, here we are. The happiest chapter yet is about to begin, and we can't imagine celebrating it with anyone other than you. Thank you for being part of our story.
